Vietjet is promoting green growth through innovation, fleet modernization, and technological transformation. The airline consistently invests in new-generation aircraft that offer greater fuel efficiency and emission reduction compared to older models. It is also researching and promoting the use of sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), while optimizing operational processes. Vietjet aims for net-zero emissions by 2050, aligning with the international aviation industry's sustainable development direction.

Beyond environmental solutions, the airline is implementing artificial intelligence (AI), big data, blockchain, and other digital technologies in operations, management, and resource allocation. The enterprise also prioritizes human resource training and developing its aviation ecosystem.

Previously, Vietjet announced it was ranked among the top 50 outstanding sustainable development enterprises in 2026 and a top global sustainable airline in 2025, along with several awards related to governance, social responsibility, and sustainable development.

The award at Made by Vietnam 2026 marks the second consecutive time Vietjet has been recognized at the program, as the airline continues to aim for combining operational growth with emission reduction and resource optimization solutions.
