Vietjet increases flights by 30% for the peak summer season

Vietjet boosts domestic flights by 30% and increases frequency on several international routes, offering over 8,8 million zero-fare tickets to meet summer 2026 travel demand.

According to the plan, enhanced flights will primarily serve routes from TP HCM and Ha Noi to major tourist destinations: Nha Trang (Khanh Hoa), Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Quang Binh, Hue, and Quy Nhon. The carrier will also increase capacity on high-demand routes, including Hai Phong, Thanh Hoa, Vinh, Chu Lai, Can Tho, Gia Lai, and Dak Lak.

Internationally, Vietjet is increasing the frequency of its TP HCM - Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) route to seven flights weekly. With this peak season expansion plan, the airline's entire network will operate over 500 flights daily. This summer, the carrier will provide more than 8,8 million seats, catering to the travel, family visit, and business requirements of both domestic and international passengers.

Beyond increasing capacity, Vietjet is launching a ticket promotion program across its network. From now until 31/8, passengers can purchase promotional tickets starting from zero dong (excluding taxes and fees) and receive discounts on Deluxe, SkyBoss, and Business class fares when booking through the Vietjet Air website and mobile application.

The airline is also opening sales for several new international routes: The TP HCM - Colombo (Sri Lanka) route is set to launch from 18/8, while the Ha Noi - Almaty (Kazakhstan) and Ha Noi - Praha (Czech Republic) routes are scheduled to begin operations from 10/10. The Nha Trang - Singapore route is anticipated to commence service in december this year.

This network expansion and increased capacity aim to meet the growing travel demand of passengers and enhance connectivity between Vietnam and destinations across the region and globally.

In addition to promotional ticket programs, the airline will offer several summer activities for passengers, including football fan merchandise and bundled service packages for group travelers.

Currently, Vietjet operates over 500 daily flights across its domestic and international network, linking Vietnam's economic and tourism hubs with numerous destinations in Asia and emerging markets.
