The new aircraft will immediately enter service, supporting high-demand routes. This expansion follows Vietjet's earlier deployment of 4 wet-leased aircraft, all aimed at addressing the surge in travel during the Tet holiday season.
For the 2026 New Year holiday peak, Vietjet increased its flight schedule by 380 additional flights, providing approximately 78,000 more seats. These additional flights cover numerous domestic routes, including Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City - Vinh, Thanh Hoa, Hai Phong, Da Nang, Phu Quoc, Cam Ranh, and Da Lat, ensuring smooth passenger journeys.

To enhance the passenger experience, Vietjet increased airport staff to expedite check-in procedures. The airline encourages travelers to use the Vietjet app or VNeID for online check-in, a measure designed to reduce waiting times and minimize congestion at check-in areas.
