Vietnam electronics and smart appliance exhibition set to open

Three hundred businesses and 500 booths are expected at the Vietnam International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo (IEAE 2026), taking place at SECC, Ho Chi Minh City, from 28-30/5.

The Vietnam International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo 2026, organized by Chaoyu Expo in collaboration with Vinexad, will be held at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention Center (SECC). This event is strategically timed amidst Vietnam's rapidly growing consumer electronics market, spanning a 10,000 square meter exhibition area.

Organizers position IEAE 2026 as an in-depth trading platform for the domestic consumer electronics and home appliance industries. It aims to bring together manufacturers, buyers, and distribution partners, fostering effective cooperation. Over the three-day event, businesses can directly discuss their needs and seek suitable partners through trade promotion activities.

According to organizers, leading Chinese electronics manufacturing hubs in Shenzhen, Dongguan, Ningbo, Zhongshan, and Foshan will be present. They will be joined by brands such as: Remax, Dongguan WUQUE Precision Technology, Shenzhen Sanlida Electrical Technology, and Guangdong Chunmi Electrical Appliance Technology, ensuring a diverse and highly competitive product supply.

The consumer electronics section will showcase products popular in Vietnam and the region, such as: wireless headphones and speakers, gaming devices, fast charging cables, power banks, chargers, phone accessories, smart wearables, drones, and robots. Most participating manufacturers possess original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and original design manufacturer (ODM) capabilities, meeting international export standards.

The home appliance section will display products such as: high-power induction cooktops, air fryers, energy-saving fans, negative ion hair dryers, multi-functional electric pots, juicers, and electric kettles. These products emphasize convenience, durability, and energy efficiency at accessible price points.

"With flexible adaptability across various distribution channels, from traditional retail to e-commerce, home appliance businesses can reach their target customers here," an organizer's representative stated. "This is an opportunity for businesses to update market information, refine business strategies, proactively adapt to market fluctuations, and establish appropriate directions."

The expo will also host specialized forums and workshops, gathering experts and business representatives to discuss domestic market development trends, policies, and opportunities. The Vietnam International Electronics and Smart Appliances Expo, which began in 2022, attracted over 350 businesses last year, focusing on consumer electronics and smart appliances.
