WRO 2025, held in Singapore from 26 to 28/11, featured over 500 teams from 95 countries. The event was highly competitive. In the 14-19 years old Robo Mission category, team HSRL-B3-02 (Bui Quoc Cuong and Doan Duc Hiep from Hung STEM Robotics Lab) placed in the top 5 globally out of 95 participating teams. In the 8-12 years old group, team WSHN.MT2.HSRL 01 achieved a top 8 finish out of 96 teams; while in the 11-15 years old group, team HSRL-B2-04 secured a top 8 position out of 112 teams.
In the Future Innovator category, team Hyper ranked top 9 out of 31 teams with a robot project aimed at solving real-world problems. This year's WRO theme, "The future of robots", encouraged participants to apply AI, automation, and space technology to address global challenges. Before reaching the finals in Singapore, Vietnamese teams had to pass school, regional, and national selection rounds in august.

Earlier, at GRG 2025, held on 17/11 in Singapore with nearly 100 participating teams, Vietnam also achieved notable results. Team NS Pluto (Nguyen Minh Khoi from Ngoi Sao Ha Noi Primary and Secondary School, and Nguyen Hoang Minh from Nguyen Sieu Primary School) won the MRI category championship. Team Rex-T secured second place, and Kid Engineer 01 took third place in the same category.
For many students, international competition offers a chance to gain experience and see how STEM education can create useful products. Team representatives stated that these achievements boost their confidence, encouraging them to continue pursuing robot projects linked to daily life.

Vietnamese teams participating in GRG and WRO 2025 received support from Vinamilk. Nguyen Quang Tri, Marketing Executive Director, observed that the contestants demonstrated a progressive spirit and clear technological thinking. He shared, "mastering technology is a crucial skill for global citizens. We aim to accompany young people on their journey to reach out to the world".
Robotacon, a STEM robotics competition system in Vietnam, serves as a platform for discovering and nurturing young talent from 6 years old. These competitions help students develop programming logic, problem-solving skills, and provide opportunities for international exchange, motivating many to pursue careers in science and technology in the future.
