Located within The MarQ luxury apartment complex, Zen The MarQ was designed and completed by Prestige. It aims to create a living space infused with a zen spirit. The project took advantage of the 8-meter high ceilings, a rare feature in high-rise apartments, to incorporate oversized stone and wood walls that extend to the ceiling, creating a striking visual effect. High-quality materials were carefully selected and handcrafted, including natural stone and premium wood. The apartment's layout was restructured to expand the view and enhance connectivity between the kitchen, dining area, and common living space, while optimizing natural light, ventilation, and flow.
"We sought to balance spatial proportions, functionality, and material selection—elements that ensure both sustainability and emotional connection, aligning with the homeowner's lifestyle and cultural context," Nguyen Van Duy, a representative of the design team, shared at the 2025 AADA awards ceremony.
Duy added that the presence of Vietnamese projects at AADA 2025 demonstrates the evolution of the country's interior design industry—not only in technical skill and aesthetics but also in creative thinking and cultural identity.
Prestige noted a growing number of Vietnamese firms are prioritizing the living experience, local identity, and sustainable values in both materials and spirit, rather than simply meeting functional needs or following trends.
Founded and organized by Asia Awards Organization Pte. Ltd. (Singapore), the AADA awards recognize outstanding architectural and interior design projects in Asia. The 2025 theme, "Vibrant Asia," highlights the intersection of traditional cultural values and contemporary trends, reflecting a dynamic and culturally rich Asia. This year's awards attracted participation from over 20 countries and territories.
