The "World's Best Companies 2026" ranking, announced on 10/9, evaluates businesses based on three criteria: revenue growth, employee satisfaction, and transparency in sustainable development. Vingroup achieved a total score of 81, placing it 340th. This marks the second consecutive year the group has been included in the list, and it remains the only Vietnamese enterprise to be ranked.
For revenue growth, Vingroup received an outstanding evaluation from Time and Statista. According to the reviewed semi-annual financial report, consolidated net revenue in the first half of 2026 reached 222,3 trillion dong, a 72,5% increase year-on-year. Profit after tax reached 20.904 billion dong, about 4,6 times higher than the previous period, achieving almost 60% of the annual plan. This growth primarily came from industrial production and the real estate business.

In terms of employee satisfaction, the group ranked 398th, a 496-spot increase from the previous year. This evaluation is based on surveys regarding corporate image, work environment, income, equality, and employees' willingness to recommend their workplace.
Within the sustainable development category, the ranking considers environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESG) indicators. According to Vingroup, companies within its ecosystem currently operate in over 12 countries, employing approximately 400,000 workers globally.
In green transportation, VinFast leads in oto sales in Vietnam, according to company data. The company aims to deliver at least 300,000 electric oto and about one million electric moto globally in 2026.
In real estate, Vinhomes applies a model it calls ESG++, which adds two elements: regeneration and climate change adaptation, alongside the environmental, social, and governance pillars. This model is being implemented at the Vinhomes Green Paradise project in Can Gio, TP HCM.
From 2025, Vingroup expanded its operations into green infrastructure and energy. VinSpeed is developing two high-speed railway lines: Ben Thanh - Can Gio and Ha Noi - Quang Ninh, with groundbreaking in 12/2025 and construction starting in 4/2026, respectively. VinEnergo also invests in energy projects in several localities.
Previously, VinFast was named among Time's top 100 most influential companies in the world in 2024 and its top 500 best companies in Asia - Pacific in 2025.
To compile the top 1,000 best companies in the world, Time and Statista assess businesses based on three equally weighted criteria: employee satisfaction, revenue growth, and ESG transparency. Evaluation data is compiled from multiple sources: surveys of over 200,000 global employees; financial results from the three most recent years; and indicators on emissions, human rights, the proportion of women on corporate boards, and anti-corruption policies.
Companies must achieve a minimum revenue of 100 million USD and maintain positive growth for three years. After converting scores to a 100-point scale, the organizers select the 1,000 companies with the highest results.
