23 military schools announce highest benchmark score of 29,76

Military university benchmark scores for military schools range from 21,5 to 29,76, with the highest marks at the Military Medical Academy and Military Science Academy.

The Military Admissions Board, under the Ministry of National Defense, announced the benchmark scores for university and college military programs across 23 military schools on the morning of 10/8.

At the university level, female candidates from the Southern region applying to the Military Medical Academy and female candidates applying to the English Language major at the Military Science Academy faced the highest benchmark scores. This year's highest score is 0,24 points lower than last year's.

The lowest score, 17,5, applied to male candidates from the Southern region seeking admission to the Political Officer School.

For the college level, benchmark scores for military schools ranged from 21,59 to 24,2.

Overall, benchmark scores for military schools increased compared to last year, when the lowest score for these institutions was 16,85.

College-level benchmark scores for military schools:

This year, 23 military schools will admit 5,420 university students, an increase of over 1,000 from last year and the highest recruitment figure in the past 5 years. 72 candidates secured direct admission to these schools.

Beyond direct admission, candidates can apply through three other methods: aptitude test scores from Vietnam National University, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City National University; aptitude test scores (QDA) from the Ministry of National Defense; and high school graduation exam scores.

Last year, the highest benchmark score for the military group was 30, for female candidates applying to the International Relations major at the Military Science Academy and the Medical major at the Military Medical Academy.

Additionally, 15 schools under the Ministry of National Defense are recruiting over 3,880 students for civilian programs, ranging from bachelor's to doctoral levels.
