University of Transport and Communications highest admission score 26,5

Control and Automation Engineering has the highest admission score at the University of Transport and Communications (UTC), unseating Logistics from last year.

The University of Transport and Communications announced admission scores on the evening of 9/8, utilizing four distinct methods. These methods include: assessing high school graduation exam scores (PT1), a combined evaluation of academic transcripts and graduation exam scores (PT2), scores from the competency assessment exams of National University-Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City (PT3), and scores from Hanoi University of Science and Technology's thinking assessment exam (PT4).

Among the admission methods, Control and Automation Engineering, which includes the specializations Automation, and Control and Automation Engineering for Transportation, recorded the highest admission score of 26,5 via the high school graduation exam method. Other majors also achieved scores exceeding 26, namely Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Mechanical Engineering with its specializations in Mechanical Manufacturing Technology and Mechanical Design Automation.

Conversely, the lowest admission score for UTC was 17,74. This applies to the Civil Engineering for Transportation major, specifically the high-quality Bridge - Road Vietnam - UK program, offered at the Ho Chi Minh City branch.

The university plans to enroll approximately 6,700 students this year.

For the academic year 2026-2027, the projected tuition fee for new students at the University of Transport and Communications ranges from 24 to 25,6 million VND. Additionally, students enrolled in 35 training programs are eligible for scholarships between 3,7 and 5,5 million VND per month, in accordance with Government Decree 179.
