The University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (also known as Vietnam-France University) announced its admission scores on 9/8. The highest score, 25.24, was for the biotechnology - drug development dual degree program (one degree from USTH and one from a French partner university), marking an increase of 0.42 points.

Following closely were the information technology - communication and chemistry dual degree programs, with scores of 24.47 and 24.36 respectively.

Conversely, the chemistry and automotive engineering programs recorded the lowest admission scores at 19, though both still increased. Last year, five programs at the university had scores below this threshold.

For 2026, USTH plans to admit nearly 1,200 students through four admission methods: based on the competency assessment test organized by the university, academic performance combined with an interview, talent-based admission, and scores from the national high school graduation exam.

Tuition fees for Vietnamese students in single degree programs at the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi are 59 million VND per year, with the pharmacy program costing 77 million VND. The Vietnam-France dual degree programs are 83 million VND. The aeronautical engineering program has a first-year tuition fee of 105 million VND.

Admitted candidates must confirm their enrollment on the Ministry of Education and Training's admission system by 17h on 21/8. Online enrollment on the USTH system is open from 12h on 12/8 to 23h on 18/8, with direct enrollment at the university scheduled for 18-19/8.
