Ha Noi Open University announced its benchmark scores on the evening of 9/8. Fashion design recorded the lowest score, while Chinese language had the highest. Most other majors fall within the 18-20 range.
In addition to Chinese language, economic law also had a higher entry score at 22. However, all these scores decreased compared to last year.
The university noted that benchmark scores for subject combinations with a x2 coefficient (indicated by capitalized, bolded subjects in the table below) have been converted from a 50-point scale to a 30-point scale.

For 2026, the university plans to enroll 4.255 students across 22 regular undergraduate programs, including a new major in computer engineering.
Admission methods include: direct admission, high school transcript review, high school graduation exam scores, results from the thinking assessment test (TSA) of Ha Noi University of Science and Technology, and the competency assessment test (HSA) of Vietnam National University, Ha Noi, combined with drawing aptitude for certain majors.
Projected tuition fees for Ha Noi Open University for the 2026-2027 academic year are 23,7-25,3 million VND.
Admitted students to Ha Noi Open University must complete enrollment on both the Ministry of Education and Training system and the university's system by 5 p.m. on 21/8.
