8th-grade student assaulted by group in street

An 8th-grade student from Trang Dai ward, Dong Nai province, was reportedly lured to an alley and assaulted by a group of students from another school.

A video, nearly two minutes long, circulated on social media on the afternoon of 23/3. It showed the student standing by the roadside before a group, wearing jackets and masks, arrived on electric bicycles and proceeded to assault her.

Many students stood by, observing the incident, with some recording it on their phones.

According to Trang Dai Ward Police, the students involved attend Truong Sa Secondary School and Trang Dai Secondary School. The assailants reportedly struck the victim's head and face and pulled her hair, necessitating medical treatment. The student's condition is currently stable.

Authorities are continuing their investigation to address the incident in accordance with regulations.
