Academy of Finance sets high admission scores

The Academy of Finance is accepting applications with combined scores of 19-20 from the three high school graduation exam subjects.

The academy announced on the evening of 23/7 that 16 of its 37 majors/programs require a minimum score of 20. These are programs oriented towards international certifications such as ACCA (Association of Chartered Certified Accountants), ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales), CMA (Certified Management Accountant), and ICDL (International Computer Driving Licence).

The remaining programs require a minimum score of 19. The business law program requires applicants to score at least 6 in math. Two programs in partnership with Toulon University, France (insurance - banking - finance and accounting - controlling - auditing), require a minimum English proficiency of B2 (level 4/6 according to the six-level Vietnam framework).

Last year, the minimum scores for the academy were 20 and 21.

This year, the Academy of Finance is recruiting 6,320 students. The four exam combinations: A00 (math, physics, chemistry), A01 (math, physics, English), D01 (math, literature, English), and D07 (math, chemistry, English) will have no difference in admission scores, based on the high school graduation exam results.

In addition to direct admission according to Ministry of Education and Training regulations, the academy uses two other admission methods: high school graduation exam scores and a combined evaluation (with three groups).

The combined evaluation groups of the Academy of Finance are as follows:

Based on the minimum scores and the score conversion table published by the academy, applicants can register and adjust their choices an unlimited number of times until 5 PM on 28/7.

The online application fee payment period is from 29/7 to 5 PM on 5/8. Universities will announce their admission scores before 5 PM on 22/8.
