The European Physics Olympiad (EuPhO), established in 2017, is for high school students.
EuPhO 2025, held in Sweden from 12 to 16/6, gathered nearly 200 students from 35 European countries and 6 guest teams. Each team, comprising a maximum of 5 students, completed two exams: one theoretical and one practical, each lasting 5 hours.
Vietnam has participated in EuPhO since 2019. The Vietnam Physical Society selects the national team from students who achieve high results in national gifted student competitions. This year's delegation is led by Associate Professor Nguyen Cao Khang, with Doctor Luu Manh Quynh from the University of Natural Sciences, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, serving as deputy head.
