Hanoi University of Civil Engineering sees increased admission scores, with a high of 28 points

Hanoi University of Civil Engineering (HUCE) announced its 2026 admission scores ranging from 16 to 28, with control and automation engineering being the highest.

Hanoi University of Civil Engineering announced this information on the afternoon of 9/8. Compared to last year, the admission score for control and automation engineering increased by one point, maintaining its leading position.

Other engineering programs all require 23,92 points or higher, reflecting an upward trend as the engineering sector attracts more candidates.

Conversely, the admission score of 16 applies only to two programs at the Ho Chi Minh City branch: water supply and drainage engineering and transportation construction engineering. This branch, established in june, will recruit additional students.

For 2026, Hanoi University of Civil Engineering plans to admit approximately 4,700 students through 6 methods: evaluation of high school graduation exam scores, assessment of three-year high school academic records by subject combination, utilization of scores from three competency assessment exams (SPT), thinking assessment exams (TSA), and V-SAT, and direct admission according to Ministry of Education and Training regulations.

For the 2026-2027 academic year, tuition fees for standard programs at HUCE average 18,5 million dong per year for this year's incoming class. High-quality and international programs have higher tuition fees, with some programs costing approximately 37 million dong per year.
