University of economics announces highest benchmark score of 25,17

Benchmark scores for six majors at the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi (UEB) range from 24,2 to 25,17 points.

According to an announcement from the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, on the afternoon of 9/8, the benchmark score for international economics reached 25,17. This marks a decrease of 0,55 points compared to last year and positions it as the only major with an admission score above 25. The remaining majors at UEB recorded benchmark scores of 24,2 or higher, with development economics having the lowest score, which remained unchanged from last year.

These benchmark scores are all calculated on a 30-point scale. They apply to admissions methods using high school graduation exam scores and those based on HSA competency assessment scores, after conversion from a 150-point scale.

For the 2026 academic year, UEB plans to admit 3,000 students. The university utilizes various admission methods, including: high school graduation exam scores (which can be combined with international English language certificates), HSA competency assessment scores, direct admission, university preparatory program admission, and international student admission.

Tuition fees for the University of Economics, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, for the 2026-2027 academic year are projected to range from 48 million to over 111 million VND. The lowest rate applies to domestic regular undergraduate students, while joint training programs with foreign universities typically incur higher fees.
