Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance sets minimum admission scores at floor level

All majors at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance have admission scores set at the application floor, ranging from 15 to 20 for the three-subject high school graduation exam combination.

On the afternoon of 9/8, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance (UEF) announced the admission scores for 38 training majors and four talent programs across various methods.

For candidates applying with high school graduation exam scores, most UEF majors require a minimum of 15 points. For those applying via the six-semester academic transcript method, the admission score is 18.

Candidates applying with scores from the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City (V-ACT) competency assessment exam need 600 out of 1200 points, while those using the V-SAT exam need 225 out of 400 points.

Specifically, for the Law group of majors, which includes Law, Economic Law, International Law, and International Commercial Law, the admission score based on high school graduation exam results is 20 points. The score for the six-semester academic transcript method is also 20 points. For the Vietnam National University, Ho Chi Minh City competency assessment exam, the requirement is 650 points, and for V-SAT, it is 250 points.

UEF plans to enroll approximately 5,000 students this year using four methods: high school graduation exam scores, academic transcripts, and scores from either the V-ACT or V-SAT competency assessment exams.

The projected tuition fee for the 2026 academic year at Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics and Finance is about 80-88 million VND per year for four semesters, and this fee will remain unchanged throughout the course of study.
