High school for gifted students in social sciences and humanities announces highest grade 10 cut-off score at 43,31

Grade 10 cut-off scores for the High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities range from 41,26 to 43,31, with the literature specialized class having the highest.

The High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities, under the University of Social Sciences and Humanities, Vietnam National University, Hanoi, announced its grade 10 admission cut-off scores on the afternoon of 12/6.

Admission scores are calculated as the total points from three general subjects – literature, English, and mathematics – each weighted by one, plus points from one specialized subject (literature, history, or geography) weighted by three. Candidates must score a minimum of two points on each general subject test and six points on their specialized subject test to be considered.

The specialized literature class recorded the highest admission cut-off score at 43,31 points. Cut-off scores for specialized history and geography were 42,99 and 41,26, respectively.

Admitted candidates are scheduled to enroll on 28/6.

The High School for Gifted Students in Social Sciences and Humanities was established in 2019.

This year, approximately 2,100 candidates competed for 610 grade 10 slots at the school. The specialized literature, history, and geography classes admitted 207, 202, and 201 students, respectively. Last year, the specialized literature class had the highest cut-off score at 22,75/30.
