Biology is one of nine optional subjects for the high school graduation exam. Approximately 72,700 out of more than 1,2 million candidates chose to take this subject, making it a significant component of the national assessment.

The 2026 high school graduation biology exam paper is as follows:

Analyzing past performance, last year's average biology score was 5,78. The score distribution was wide, indicating a broad range of student performance, with fewer high scores compared to previous years. Nationally, 82 candidates achieved a perfect 10, and Bac Ninh was recognized as the locality with the highest average score for this subject.

Similarly, this year's score distribution also showed a wide range, with fewer excellent scores compared to last year. Across the country, 82 students achieved a perfect 10 in biology, with TP HCM recording the highest number, 20. Bac Ninh again demonstrated strong academic performance, having the highest average score in the subject.

For this year, candidates will receive their graduation exam scores on 1/7. Following this, they will have five days to appeal their exam results. University admission applications and adjustments can be made from 2/7 until 17h on 14/7. University admission results will be available after 17h on 9/8.
