HUTECH sets admission scores between 15 and 19

Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology (HUTECH) has set its admission scores between 15 and 19, with pharmacy having the highest entry requirement.

University admission scores 2025 - Tuition fees of more than 130 universities

On the evening of 22/8, HUTECH announced its admission scores for various admission methods.

For the high school graduation exam scores, the university set the minimum score at 15 for most majors. Pharmacy requires 19 points, while nursing and medical laboratory technology both require 17.

Applicants with high school transcripts averaging 18 points or higher are eligible for many majors. This requirement increases by 1-3 points for pharmacy, nursing, and medical laboratory technology.

These three majors also have higher standards for admission based on the Ho Chi Minh City National University's competency assessment test and the V-SAT, ranging from 650-700/1200 and 250-275/450, respectively. Other majors require scores of 600/1200 and 225/450.

Successful applicants must confirm their enrollment online through the Ministry of Education and Training's system by 5 PM on 30/8. Failure to do so will be considered a refusal of admission.

In-person enrollment at the university will take place from 23/8 to 30/8.

This year, HUTECH aims to enroll around 13,500 students across 61 majors using three methods: high school graduation exam scores, high school transcripts based on the average score of three grade 12 subjects, and results from the 2025 competency assessment test of Ho Chi Minh City National University or the V-SAT.

HUTECH's score conversion formula

Last year, HUTECH's admission scores based on high school graduation exam results ranged from 16 to 21, with the highest scores required for information technology and pharmacy.
