The 2026 VnExpress Youth Basketball Super Cup - Ziaja Cup took place on the morning of 24/5 at Tan Thuan Multi-purpose Gymnasium in TP HCM. The tournament delivered impressive moments, from sportsmanship on the court to heartwarming displays of family support.
Vinschool Central Park's boys team secured a 54-37 victory over Hanoi's Vinschool The Harmony.
After the final whistle, both teams joined hands in a circle, bowing to the cheering audience, a display of sportsmanship.
At the award ceremony, the moment when Phan Dinh Phung High School girls (Hanoi) – the women's Super Cup runner-up – carried their teammate onto the stage to receive their award made a strong impression on spectators. Phan Dinh Phung lost to Vinschool Central Park in the Super Cup with a score of 24-31, but left a beautiful image in the eyes of fans with their never-give-up spirit. Thu Thuy (number 52) suffered an ankle sprain and had to leave the court early in the first half. She could not move normally, so her teammates supported her onto the stage to receive the award.

Trinh Thi Thanh, 87, traveled from Hanoi to TP HCM to cheer for her grandson, Doan Viet Son Tung (number 1) from Vinschool The Harmony team. Despite her weak legs, Ms. Thanh made the journey to offer support.
Ms. Thanh encouraged her grandson not to be disheartened by the Super Cup loss, acknowledging the strength of the Central Park opponent. She expressed hope that Son Tung and his teammates would refine their skills and tactics to make an impact in future tournaments.

Phuong Chi was named the best female player of the 2026 VnExpress Youth Basketball Super Cup - Ziaja Cup. She earned two titles: best female athlete of the Super Cup and best female athlete of the TP HCM regional tournament.
