In 2026, the bloc of eight police academies plans to recruit 2,070 new full-time university students through three admission methods: direct admission, combined admission based on international foreign language certificates and Ministry of Public Security assessment exam scores, and combined admission based on high school graduation exam scores and Ministry of Public Security assessment exam scores.
The assessment exam, scheduled for 20-21/6, will require candidates to complete a 180-minute test consisting of three parts: a compulsory essay, a compulsory multiple-choice section, and an optional multiple-choice section. The total score for the exam is 100 points. The compulsory essay section accounts for 25 points, while the multiple-choice section makes up 75 points.
Regarding content, 70% of the assessment exam questions will cover knowledge from grade 12, with the remaining 30% from grades 10 and 11. Questions at the 'knowing and understanding' level will constitute 30% of the exam, 'application' level questions will make up 50%, and 'high application' level questions will account for 20%.
