The program evaluates academic transcripts and English proficiency, reducing exam pressure for students. During the first two years at Thang Long University, students focus on developing methodology, critical thinking, and specialized English according to British standards. This initial phase is crucial, helping learners adapt to the demands of international study while still receiving family support.

After completing the phase in Vietnam, students transfer to the Singapore Institute of Management (SIM). There, professors and lecturers from the University of Birmingham directly teach 100% of the specialized subjects, ensuring academic integrity. Singapore's learning environment brings together students from over 40 countries, offering opportunities for cultural exchange and expanding international networks. Additionally, SIM's network of over 3,000 corporate partners supports students in finding internships and post-graduation employment.
Financially, the total estimated cost for the four-year journey is approximately 1.6 billion Vietnamese dong, covering tuition and living expenses. This figure allows parents to save up to 60% compared to sending their children directly to study in the UK. Furthermore, the close geographical proximity between Vietnam and Singapore enables parents to visit their children easily without needing a visa, providing significant peace of mind.

Currently, the program focuses on four specializations: Accounting and Finance, Business Administration, Business Administration and Communications, and International Business. Investing in a multinational training pathway not only provides specialized knowledge but also builds students' resilience. The 2+2 pathway enables young individuals to confidently step into the world with thorough preparation in both academics and life skills, meeting parents' expectations for a safe and effective study abroad journey.
The University of Birmingham is a member of the Russell Group – an elite group of research universities in the UK. Many parents now prioritize international joint training programs over sending their children directly abroad after high school. This model is considered to provide students with time to prepare psychologically, develop skills, and improve foreign language proficiency before transitioning to an international environment. Among these, the 2+2 study pathway, with two years in Vietnam and two years in Singapore to earn a degree from the University of Birmingham (UK), is attracting significant interest from many families.
