On 13/8, a representative from Le Thanh Tong primary, secondary, and high school in Tan Son Nhi ward announced that among these students, 79 chose medicine, 8 were admitted to dentistry, and one selected pharmacy.

Most of these students will attend Ho Chi Minh City University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Pham Ngoc Thach University of Medicine, the University of Health Sciences (Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City), and Can Tho University of Medicine and Pharmacy.

Admission scores for students in class 12B1 were 26,25/30 or higher, with one student achieving a perfect score. In class 12B2, 5 students attained perfect scores, including Dinh Ngoc Hai Lam, who was the national valedictorian for B00 block; the remaining students achieved at least 23 points.

This marks the 7th consecutive year that class 12B1, led by teacher Nguyen Viet Long, has achieved a 100% medical school admission rate. According to him, students are carefully selected and have strong foundations and clear orientations from the moment they enter grade 10. Understanding the intense competition and high admission thresholds in health science fields, all students are determined to study diligently.

Students follow the school's general timetable. In addition to two daily class sessions, students have extra evening study hours from 18h to 22h, or until 20h on saturday and sunday. Mobile phones are not permitted within the school; if needed, students can use school phones or borrow from their homeroom teacher.

Le Thanh Tong primary, secondary, and high school is part of the private Nguyen Khuyen school system in Ho Chi Minh City. In the national high school graduation exam, the school produced two national valedictorians for the B00 block.

These schools are well-known and also controversial due to their strict study and activity schedules, particularly for boarding students.
