Agentic AI Build Week 2026 is one of the largest hackathons focusing on agentic ai (AI technology capable of proactive thinking, planning, and acting) in Southeast Asia. The competition gathered over 3,000 participants from 50 countries and territories, showcasing more than 400 competing projects.
Many global technology giants supported the competition, including Amazon Web Services, OpenAI, NVIDIA, Tencent Cloud, and Google.
Nguyen Van Anh Duy expressed his excitement, stating this was his first hackathon experience. He recounted working tirelessly for almost 48 hours to finalize the product before submission, continuously optimizing the system architecture and addressing any emerging issues. "I had the opportunity to learn, connect with new friends, and work with members from diverse backgrounds," Duy shared.
For Bui Minh Viet, his academic journey provided extensive exposure to AI and product development methodologies. This foundation, combined with the chance to apply new technology and transform ideas into practical solutions during the competition, boosted his confidence and contributed significantly to the team's high achievement.
FPT University emphasizes the value of such technology platforms in fostering students' problem-solving abilities, teamwork skills, product development capabilities, and expanding their professional networks both domestically and internationally.
