6 singers eliminated from 'Em xinh say hi'

Ly Ly, Hoang Duyen, Ngo Lan Huong, Yeolan, Chi Xe, and Danmy leave "Em xinh say hi" due to low scores.

On the evening of 28/6, the fifth episode of Live Stage 2 aired, showcasing the four remaining team performances. After calculating individual scores, 10 contestants landed in the bottom 10, with six being eliminated: Danmy, LyLy (Miu Le's team), Chi Xe (Phuong My Chi's team), Yeolan, Ngo Lan Huong, and Hoang Duyen (Bich Phuong's team).

Hoang Duyen admitted to being afraid of crying, but couldn't hold back her tears during the farewell. The singer gained valuable experience from the show, becoming more confident and outspoken. "What I cherish most after this program is the camaraderie and professional relationships," the Saigon native said emotionally. Ngo Lan Huong shared a similar sentiment, expressing that the bond between everyone felt like a family.

Yeolan expressed regret but remained optimistic, believing she would have the opportunity to return to the stage at the concert in September, alongside her fellow contestants.

Team captains Bich Phuong and Miu Le were visibly emotional as they witnessed members of their teams being eliminated.

"There were times I felt inadequate and wanted to redo things for a better outcome," Miu Le confessed. Bich Phuong admitted, "I've never lost my composure so many times in my life."

Team 52Hz led in points after the round, with two performances, "Khong dau nua roi" and "Ga san ca," that resonated with the audience, securing their members' advancement to Live Stage 3. The team's remaining members include Chau Bui, My My, Orange, MAIQUINN, Quynh Anh Shyn, Saabirose, and Lam Bao Ngoc.

"Em xinh say hi," aiming to "discover the next generation of Vietnamese female idols," premiered in late May and is scheduled to conclude in August, spanning 14 episodes.

30 contestants were divided into teams, competing directly through group performances, with eliminations throughout the show. Music director JustaTee (nickname Jessica Thanh Tu), along with a team of over 20 producers and musicians, are responsible for the original compositions performed by the contestants. The show is produced by the same team that successfully organized "Anh trai say hi" in mid-2024.
