According to director Dang Le Minh Tri, a highlight of the concert will be a scene of "soldiers among the people" presented in a solemn yet intimate atmosphere. The soldiers have rehearsed for many days to familiarize themselves with the stage. Notable athletes like Quang Hai, Anh Vien, and Le Van Cong will also appear.

The concert will retrace historical milestones, focusing on the red and gold star flag, a symbol of patriotism. Composer Nguyen Huu Vuong has rearranged familiar revolutionary songs like "Len dang" (by Luu Huu Phuoc) and "Duong len phia truoc" (by Tien Minh). Singer Tung Duong will perform a new arrangement of "Viet tiep cau chuyen hoa binh" (by Nguyen Van Chung). The 26-meter-high, V-shaped stage features four areas named Independence, Freedom, Happiness, and Red and Gold Star Flag. Organizers printed composer Van Cao's handwritten national anthem on the tickets, encouraging the audience to sing along.
The event is also known as the "National Concert," a term used by Generation Z to describe events commemorating important national anniversaries. The organizers distributed free tickets and expect an audience of about 50,000. When registration opened, over 3 million accounts visited the website, but only 20,000 people secured tickets. On the morning of 8/2, thousands of young people waited in the Hanoi sun to collect their tickets.

The concert will conclude with an 8-minute fireworks display at the F1 racetrack (Tu Liem ward, Hanoi), using 300 high-altitude fireworks and 60 low-altitude firework platforms.
The "To quoc trong tim" program is co-organized by the Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Hanoi People's Committee (UBND) to commemorate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day (2/9). The concert will be broadcast live on the Nhan Dan Newspaper website, Hanoi Radio and Television, and other platforms.
