On 18/8, 8Wonder's organizers revealed the full lineup on their fanpage, adding Tlinh and Trong Hieu to the already announced DJ Snake, J Balvin, The Kid LAROI, DPR IAN, Soobin, and Hoa Minzy. These two Vietnamese artists will play special roles in this year's program.
On 16/8, Tlinh posted a music clip on TikTok, which received a direct comment from J Balvin, "This is cool. I'm in Vietnam next, you'll be there".
This excited fans, sparking speculation that she would perform at 8Wonder Summer 2025: Moments of Wonder on 23/8 at the National Exhibition Construction Center (Cau Tu Lien street, Dong Anh commune, Hanoi). Many demanded to hear her live.
8Wonder soon introduced the Wonder Sound Lab, with Tlinh as the first Vietnamese artist to participate. This project promises a unique musical product for this year's music festival.
With the message "Where Local Beats Become Global Wonders", the organizers describe it as a musical "laboratory," the cradle and creative launchpad of Moments of Wonder. This initiative aims to create musical wonders #MadeInVietnam #HeardWorldwide.
Here, Vietnamese music is experimented with, broken down, and blended with the essence of international artists, leading to pioneering combinations for the market. Wonder Sound Lab's unique feature is its First-time Global Collab model: each season features only one Vietnam-international collaboration, marking a new step forward and inspiring young artists to dream globally.
In this "lab," young Vietnamese artists and producers can unleash their creativity, then collaborate with international artists to refine and present their work to the audience at Moments of Wonder. This is a new highlight of this year's festival, promising many unique audience experiences.
The Wonder Sound Lab concept provides a musical playground and creates opportunities for Vietnamese artists to collaborate with international artists within Moments of Wonder. It also aims to bring Vietnamese music closer to global stages.
Unlike many other programs, 8Wonder allows Vietnamese artists to showcase their identity and creativity on the same stage as international stars. It is also one of the few large-scale commercial events that gives Vietnamese artists a chance to affirm their position, reflecting a new organizational mindset where domestic artists are given equal footing to perform.
