Artist Bach Tuyet expressed her excitement about participating in the young artists' project, hoping to contribute to spreading Vietnamese cultural and historical values. Phao shared her nervousness about performing with a master of cai luong (southern Vietnamese opera) for the first time. |
Veteran artist Bach Tuyet was the oldest vocalist featured on DTAP's debut album, Made In Vietnam. At the project's showcase on the evening of 19/8, she graced the stage with a performance of "Nam quoc son ha."
The song evoked a powerful, patriotic atmosphere, drawing inspiration from the hero Ly Thuong Kiet and reflecting on the responsibility of younger generations to protect the country in peacetime. A highlight of the performance was the harmonious blend of Bach Tuyet's vocals with those of Phao, a prominent gen Z rapper.
The song, which initially gained popularity in 2021, was given a new arrangement by DTAP. Through the piece, the group aimed to convey the message that the sovereignty and territorial integrity of the nation are sacred values that must never be forgotten.
