On the evening of 24/7, she announced the decision, which she made at the end of June. "I thought long and hard about what would be best for myself and my two children. At this time, I can't share more because I'm going through a difficult period," Phuong said.
She is living in Hanoi with her two daughters, 7-year-old Lina and 1-year-old Mia. The actress is currently filming a new television series and running a cafe.
When Phuong gave birth to her second daughter last year, she managed childcare on her own because her husband had relocated to Da Nang for work. The actress previously expressed feeling overwhelmed by the responsibilities.

The couple registered their marriage in 2018 after more than a year of dating. He proposed while they were driving from the Welsh countryside back to his home in Sheffield, England, during Christmas 2017.
Phuong was born in Hanoi and moved to Ho Chi Minh City with her family during high school. She graduated from the Foreign Trade University, campus 2, and the College of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City. The actress is known for her roles in television series such as Ugly Betty (2008), White-robed Angels (2009), The Children of Saigon's Special Forces (2010), A Lifetime of Resentment (2017), Bride on Order, and Loving the Sunny Days. She also appeared in films like Scandal (2012), Battle of the Brides 2 (2013), The Girl from Yesterday (2017), Go-Go Sisters (2018), and Tet in Hell Village (2023).
