On 18/8, Ashley St. Clair posted a 30-minute video on X, announcing the first episode of her podcast, "Bad Advice". The 26-year-old author explained her current situation: "After a year of self-sabotaging my career, making some questionable choices, and having an unexplainable, legally-binding gap in my LinkedIn profile, I've decided to start a podcast." LinkedIn is a globally recognized professional networking and job search platform.
"It wasn't anyone's request, but statistically speaking, I should either be doing this or joining an MLM. So, here we are," St. Clair added. She then revealed she was facing eviction and had received a $10,000 offer to read an advertisement on a platform.
St. Clair also discussed current events, advising listeners to be discerning. "I didn't start this because I thought I had sage wisdom. In fact, I think I have a lot of bad thoughts, so maybe take what I say as a cautionary tale," she added.
St. Clair didn't mention Elon Musk and later deleted the video. International news outlets have contacted both St. Clair and Musk for comment, but neither has responded.

This is St. Clair's latest move since publicly claiming she "secretly gave birth to Musk's child" in February. The baby, named Romulus (initials R.S.C.), was born in New York in 9/2024. St. Clair is currently suing Musk for sole custody. In March, she accused the billionaire of financially retaliating against their son by unilaterally cutting support payments.
Musk denied the allegations on X, stating he had paid $2.5 million and was sending $500,000 annually in support, despite being unsure of his paternity. St. Clair responded to his comment: "We asked you to take a paternity test before the baby (the one you named) was born. And you haven’t sent me money. You sent what you thought was necessary child support until you cut most of it off to punish me for not obeying you. But really you’re punishing your son."
In an April interview with the WSJ, St. Clair said she had previously rejected Musk's $15 million offer to keep the birth secret.
Born in 1999, Ashley St. Clair is a children's author, known for her book *Elephants Are Not Birds* (2023). A prominent conservative figure, she has over one million followers on X. She has also appeared on television, podcasts, and online shows discussing declining birth rates in wealthy nations.
In addition to St. Clair's child, Musk has 13 children with three other women. His first child with his first wife, Justine Wilson, was born in 2002 but died at 10 weeks old. They had five more children before divorcing in 2008. After beginning a relationship with singer Grimes in 2018, they had three children together. Musk is currently dating Shivon Zilis, CEO of the startup Neuralink. They have four children, including twins born a few weeks before Grimes' second child. On 28/2, Zilis announced she had a fourth child with Musk but did not disclose the birth date.
