Bao Truc gets proposed to by German boyfriend on the beach

Actress Bao Truc, 40, was proposed to by German businessman Mike, 56, on a beach while preparing for their wedding.

The actress shared she accepted the proposal on 13/7. The couple had already decided to marry on 16/7, but a romantic proposal had been missing. "This is a meaningful gift he gave me before we start our life together," she stated.

The proposal unfolded on a beach at a luxury resort in Da Nang, which will also be the venue for their wedding ceremony.

"This moment will forever be in our memories," the actress commented.

She recounted that they had initially planned only for dinner. However, upon entering the restaurant, Bao Truc was surprised by the meticulously prepared setting, featuring a red carpet adorned with roses. Immediately, businessman Mike produced a ring, knelt, and expressed his love.

The two then shared a kiss amidst the romantic evening ambiance on the beach.

They met in late 2025 at a gym in Germany. After two months of dating, Mike traveled with Bao Truc to Vietnam to meet her family and friends. The actress stated she found stable support after two broken relationships. "He is humorous, so I am always happy and comfortable when I am with him," she explained.

Born in 1986, Bao Truc hails from Ca Mau (formerly Bac Lieu). She is a familiar face on the Ho Chi Minh City runway and Vietnamese screen, having starred in films such as Nguoi Mau, Cot Moc 23, Lay Chong Som Lam Gi, and Gia Cua Nu Cuoi.

In 2022, Bao Truc moved to Germany with her two young children and her second husband. However, that marriage ended. According to the actress, she is a single mother, raising her two daughters, 13 and seven, using income from renting a house in Ho Chi Minh City and her savings. Her fiance has never been married but has two sons, 18 and 15, from a previous relationship.
