The actress and her fiance arrived in Vietnam in late march to capture commemorative photos before their big day, scheduled for july at a luxury resort in Da Nang. She chose to have her wedding dresses custom-made in her home country rather than purchasing from foreign brands. The actress plans to wear three distinct, alluring gowns for the ceremony.

Bao Truc shared that she and her boyfriend have been discussing every detail for half a year in anticipation of the wedding. The German businessman supports the idea of a beach wedding and is enthusiastic about wearing a traditional Vietnamese ao dai. According to the actress, they initially considered not holding a party, but upon reflecting on their families and loved ones, they realized a wedding was essential to create lasting memories and share their happiness. "We both lean towards a free-spirited lifestyle and aren't overly concerned with formalities," the actress stated.

During this trip back to Vietnam, the couple also enjoyed quality time together, traveling across the country to destinations such as Ha Long Bay, Phan Thiet, and Khanh Hoa. Bao Truc mentioned that her fiance has a good sense of humor, which makes her feel constantly happy and comfortable when they are together.

They met in late 2025 at a gym in Germany. After two months of dating, Mike proposed to Bao Truc and subsequently visited Vietnam to meet her family and friends. The actress expressed that she has found a solid emotional anchor and feels at ease with her boyfriend after two previous marriages.

In 2022, Bao Truc moved to Germany with her two young children to live with her ex-husband. However, two years later, her marriage ended. For the past three years living abroad, she has been a single mother, raising her two daughters, aged 13 and 7, using income from house rentals in TP HCM and her savings. Her fiance has never been married but has two sons, aged 18 and 15.

Bao Truc, born in 1986, is from Bac Lieu (formerly Ca Mau). She is a familiar face on the TP HCM fashion runways and Vietnamese screen, having appeared in films such as "Nguoi Mau", "Cot Moc 23", "Lay Chong Som Lam Gi", and "Gia Cua Nu Cuoi".
