Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise reunite

Actors Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise embraced on the red carpet at the premiere of "F1", after 24 years apart.

According to Variety on 23/6, Tom Cruise attended the UK premiere of F1, starring Brad Pitt. The two Hollywood stars embraced and posed for photos.

Pitt wore a green suit with a mint green scarf and brown shoes. Cruise sported aviator sunglasses, a gray suit, and black shoes.

This marked their first red carpet appearance together in 24 years, since the America: A Tribute to Heroes benefit concert in 2001. On X (formerly Twitter), many viewers called it a "golden moment." "It's great to see Brad and Tom laughing together in front of hundreds of cameras as if time stood still," one commented. Another suggested that despite past rumors of discord, their reunion indicated a mended relationship.

The pair previously collaborated in the 1994 film Interview With the Vampire. Now in their 60s, both continue to work and deliver quality films. Pitt portrays a racer returning to competition in F1, while Cruise recently released the eighth installment of his hit action franchise, Mission: Impossible, in May.

In an interview with E! News, Pitt jokingly said he would only film with Cruise if it was on solid ground, referencing his colleague's frequent aerial and underwater stunts. "I'm not hanging off a plane," he quipped.

Pitt expressed gratitude for Cruise's ongoing support. During filming, they enjoyed go-kart racing, but Cruise always won. Since their 1994 collaboration, their careers have taken different paths. Pitt has won two Oscars, while Cruise has starred in six more Mission: Impossible films.

In an April interview, Cruise praised Pitt's driving skills: "It's wonderful to see Brad drive. He's very good. Believe me, I've raced with him."

Brad Pitt, 62, has been a leading Hollywood actor for three decades. According to The Numbers, films starring him have earned approximately USD 5 billion at the box office. The star has won prestigious awards such as Oscars, Golden Globes, and BAFTAs. He has been married twice, to Jennifer Aniston (2000-2005) and Angelina Jolie (2014-2019), and is currently dating Ines de Ramon, who is 29 years his junior.

Tom Cruise, 63, is 1.7 m tall and weighs approximately 68 kg. The actor is known as "ageless" in Hollywood, with his appearance seemingly unchanging over time. According to SCMP, he was the highest-paid actor in the world in 2022, specifically in film. He currently holds the Guinness World Record for the most consecutive films grossing over USD 100 million, with 11 projects from Jack Reacher (2012) to The Final Reckoning (2025). On 6/6, he set a world record for performing 16 fiery parachute jumps for a stunt in Mission: Impossible 8.
