On 21/7 and 22/7, Chi Bao (right) welcomed many friends and colleagues to the Museum of Ceramics of the Founding Period located in An Khanh ward. He founded and serves as the CEO of the museum, which was completed in early July.

Chi Bao showcased hundreds of artifacts, including a Dong Son culture ceramic steamer dating back about 2,000 years, recognized as a national treasure in 2024.
The actor said he had the idea of establishing the museum over 10 years ago based on his personal interest. The exhibited items belong to various cultures, including Dong Son, Phung Nguyen, Dong Dau, Go Mun, and Sa Huynh.

Chi Bao showed Ha Kieu Anh the items he has collected for over 15 years.
"I like ceramics for their rustic simplicity. Through this collection, I want to preserve beauty, awaken pride in our origins, and honor Vietnam's ancient culture for everyone, including the younger generation," the actor said.

Actress Thanh Mai posed outside the museum. "I'm happy and supportive of Chi Bao's shift to cultural work. Each item is not just a collectible, but a piece of the nation's memory that needs to be preserved and shared. Visiting the museum, I felt the old values touch my heart, because they are our roots and origins," she said.

Chi Bao's private museum operates under the management of Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports. He said that in the future, he will organize experiential programs for students, collaborate with universities and museums domestically and internationally to develop research materials.
Chi Bao, whose full name is Pham Gia Chi Bao, is 52 years old. He has been an actor for 25 years, known for his romantic style and versatile acting. He is famous for films like Giao Thoi, Dong Tien Xuong Mau, Nguoi Dan Ba Yeu Duoi, Luc Van Tien, and Co Gai Xau Xi.
In recent years, Chi Bao has limited his screen appearances, focusing mainly on business and charity work. In 5/2021, Chi Bao announced his retirement from acting after 25 years in the film industry.
