The pop-rock track, composed by Xuan Nghi, is part of her mini-album "Let's Never Give A Sh". The singer shared that she once experienced a period of being lost and doubting herself while pursuing music. Through the introspective lyrics: "I used to fear what hadn't come yet / Feared the gossip and judgment from others... Oh, my dear, don't worry or overthink", Xuan Nghi aims to encourage everyone to stop caring about others' opinions and learn to listen to themselves.

Xuan Nghi recounted her close friendship with Xuan Mai during their childhood. After many years without contact, she reached out to her colleague via social media to invite her to participate in the project. Despite their different lives and paths, the two quickly found common ground, having both stepped away from the spotlight to reflect on themselves.
The music video was filmed in the United States over about one week. During the recording and filming process, Xuan Mai flew from Ohio to California and stayed at Xuan Nghi's home. This allowed them more time to talk, refine the lyrics, and complete the song. For Xuan Nghi, this collaboration was not only a professional endeavor but also an opportunity for them to reminisce about their childhood memories and reconnect after many years.
What Xuan Mai remembers most is Xuan Nghi's attentiveness, from helping her adjust her hair and costume to finding the best camera angles. "I am grateful for the opportunity to work alongside someone as talented and warm as Xuan Nghi," the 9x generation singer stated.
Xuan Mai considers this collaboration with Xuan Nghi the kick-off for her return to singing after a long period focused on family care.
Xuan Mai, 31, whose real name is Truong Hoang Xuan Mai, hails from TP HCM. Born into an artistic family with singer Tuan Canh as her father and guitarist Thu Thu as her mother, she was once dubbed the "singing prodigy" of Vietnamese music. At two years old, she performed on stage and released a number of best-selling CDs. To date, she owns over 30 solo and joint albums, with the "Con Co Be Be" brand being the most famous. She performed a live show that attracted thousands of spectators when she was just 5 years old.
At 7 years old, Xuan Mai moved to the United States with her mother. From 2009 onwards, she occasionally returned to Vietnam to perform and film new music videos. In late 2014, she married at 19 and subsequently gave birth to three children (two boys, one girl) in 2015, 2017, and 2018. She currently leads a peaceful, private life with her family in Ohio.

Xuan Nghi, 32, from Da Lat, also became a famous child singer at 5 years old with her album "Xuan Nghi - Tieng hat thien than nho". Beyond music, she appeared in television dramas such as "Hoa ngu sac" and "Son ca khong hat".
In 2010, she moved to the United States to study and reside. In 2015, she was accepted into the music production major at the University of Southern California (USC) and graduated in 2018. After graduation, Xuan Nghi established a media company and continued her music career in the United States. In 2024, she returned to Vietnam to participate in the second season of the show "Chi Dep Dap Gio Re Song". She married her husband, technology engineer Nhat Minh, at the end of June.
