The three-book 'World of elements' series helps young readers appreciate nature and understand the roles of earth, water, and fire in natural processes, history, and daily life. These works offer diverse knowledge, engaging illustrations, and an accessible presentation, inviting readers to explore questions such as: Why does water sustain life, how has fire transformed human civilization, and how does earth silently protect all species? |
Dr. Le Anh Vinh's 'The robot who thought he was human', a publication by a Harvard University scholar, recently featured as reading comprehension material in the 10th grade Literature exam in TP HCM on 1/6. Part of the 'Colors of emotions' theme, the story centers on Biet Dieu, an imperfect robot learning to navigate the world, much like a growing child.
According to Dr. Vinh, he wrote the book for children who are learning about themselves and the world, but also for adults, to remind them of their own childhood. The author conveys a powerful message: "Being yourself, even if different, is always something worth striving for". Dr. Le Anh Vinh will meet readers at Fahasa Tan Dinh Bookstore in TP HCM on 6/6.
