On 4/6, Phuong Anh attended the doctoral graduation ceremony for her husband, businessman Ho Dac Duc, who earned his PhD in Aviation. From the stands, the runner-up was emotional as she watched him walk onto the stage and shake hands with the professors. "I am proud and congratulate him because all his efforts have been rewarded," she said.
Imperial College London is a world-renowned university, recognized for its programs in science, engineering, technology, biomedicine, and business. In the UK, it is often grouped with University of Oxford and University of Cambridge. According to the QS World University Rankings 2026, Imperial College London ranks number one in the UK and Europe, and number two globally, after Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Phuong Anh is also pursuing a PhD in Management at RMIT University Vietnam. She stated that seeing her husband's achievements further motivates her. They often encourage each other and assist with research material and study time management. "I am fortunate that both families are supportive, so I haven't faced significant difficulties or pressure. My husband encourages me to pursue my dreams first and have children later because we are both young," Phuong Anh said.

Phuong Anh and Ho Dac Duc married in 2023 after several years of acquaintance. In recent years, both prioritized their studies. According to the runner-up, there were times when her husband studied in-person at the university or conducted research remotely, allowing them to still spend time together.
Her full name is Pham Ngoc Phuong Anh, 28, and she was crowned Miss Ao Dai Student Vietnam 2015 before becoming the first runner-up of Miss Vietnam 2020. In 12/2022, she competed in Miss International but did not make the top.
Phuong Anh was formerly the top entrance exam scorer for the bilingual program at Le Hong Phong High School for the Gifted, TP HCM, and won third prize in the national French language competition for gifted students, earning direct admission to Foreign Trade University Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City University of Technology. She is proficient in English, French, Spanish, and Japanese, having achieved an IELTS score of 8.0. Currently, she works as a lecturer at RMIT University (TP HCM), where she previously studied and graduated as valedictorian in Information Management Systems and earned a Master of Global Trade. She also serves as an MC and speaker at cultural and educational events.
