A report from a beauty business website ranked Fan Beauty Diary 35th among the top 100 hottest Chinese brands in the field in 2024. Analysts noted that this figure is significantly lower than the leading brand, Proya (8.6 billion CNY). However, for a 7-year-old brand, this is an impressive achievement, demonstrating Fan Beauty Diary's strong position in the beauty market.

The company has experienced consistent growth. In June, it set a company record by selling 100,000 boxes of skin-whitening masks during a 10-second livestream. Each box is priced at 198 CNY (721,000 VND). The brand offers products like cosmetics, masks, shampoo, and skin creams, with prices ranging from 99 CNY (360,000 VND) to 684 CNY (2.5 million VND). The company was established in 2018, before authorities announced a fine of 883 million CNY (USD 128 million) against Fan Bingbing for tax evasion.
Fan Bingbing models for her products and promotes them through livestreams. She also collaborates with livestreaming stars in China to boost sales during shopping festivals. The brand boasts a high number of followers, with 11.4 million on Douyin alone.

Besides her business ventures, Fan Bingbing attends international events, does magazine photoshoots, and acts in Hollywood, South Korean, and Malaysian films. Late last year, she filmed "The Shaman" in Malaysia, playing a farmer with ancient exorcism abilities. The story follows the shaman as she confronts a mysterious spirit, uncovering clues to her husband's death.
The actress was once a prominent figure on the red carpet at international film and fashion events. Following the tax evasion scandal, she has not appeared at any major film events in mainland China, and her films completed before 2018 have yet to be released there.
