The beauty queen discussed her life, work, and family after winning the first runner-up title at Miss Vietnam 2024.
Chau Anh comes from a family of military personnel: her parents, sister, and brother-in-law all serve. Speaking about her family, Chau Anh expressed gratitude for her parents' support in her first foray into the world of beauty pageants.
According to the first runner-up, the resilience and discipline she possesses today are largely due to her family upbringing. "As I embark on this new journey as first runner-up and enter the entertainment industry, I know my parents will have many worries. However, I want to reassure them, 'Please rest assured, I will mature and handle this responsibly'," she said.
22-year-old Tran Ngoc Chau Anh, from Hanoi, stands at 1.7 m tall with measurements of 86-60-90 cm. Throughout the competition, she presented an image of gentle grace while retaining the inner strength of a soldier from a family with a strong revolutionary tradition.
She is currently a second lieutenant and the youngest assistant lecturer at the Music Department of the University of Culture and Arts, Vietnam National Defense Academy. She is also studying piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.
Miss Vietnam, a beauty pageant initiated by Tien Phong Newspaper, was first held in 1988 under the name Miss Tien Phong Newspaper. The first winner was Bui Bich Phuong from Hanoi. The biennial competition, now in its 19th season, began in late 2024 and attracted thousands of contestants from across the country.
