The dresses and tops are made of hemp fabric, woven from a plant grown in the highlands. After harvesting, the bark is shredded into fibers by the Hmong people of Northwest Vietnam, then soaked in ash and water for days to increase durability before being woven.
Miss Bui Xuan Hanh joined H'Hen Nie as the program's ambassador. She wore a strapless dress with embroidered details on the bodice crafted by artisans.
