Royal Ascot 2025 took place from 17/6 to 21/6, bringing together members of the royal family and numerous athletes. The event was founded by Queen Anne I in 1711.

King Charles III and Queen Camilla came to cheer on their horse, Purple Rainbow, bred by the late Queen Elizabeth II. The King wore a gray suit with a butter-yellow waistcoat and a top hat. Previously, he wore a similar outfit with a pastel pink waistcoat instead of the yellow one. The Queen wore a matching coat and pleated skirt.

A guest at the event wore a wide-brimmed hat adorned with metallic butterflies. The Independent selected the design as one of the most beautiful hats at this year's festival. According to British stylist Sheridan-Taylor, attendees' hats should be elegant, complement their outfits, have a sturdy structure, and be securely fastened to the head to prevent them from falling off.
