At the "Thoai Mong" show on 6/7, the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 runner-up modeled an "ao yem" (traditional Vietnamese bodice) adorned with 3D flowers, faux pearls, and beads, complemented by a sequined and jeweled cape.

Huong Ly also wore a feathered headpiece. The 30-year-old beauty is currently the national director of Miss Universe Vietnam. Recently, she served as a judge for Vietnam's Next Top Model, where she won the title and began her modeling career in 2015.

Miss International Queen 2025 runner-up Nguyen Cao Minh Anh walked the runway in a lace "ao dai" (traditional Vietnamese dress) with a split jacket embroidered with dragon and stylized floral motifs.

The collection featured 80 modernized "ao dai" designs crafted from various materials, including silk, gam (brocade), organza, lace, and satin.

Some designs embraced the loose-fitting silhouettes of the 1930s with a predominantly pastel palette. Others showcased fitted styles with high, 5 cm lotus-leaf collars.

Modern touches appeared in flared sleeves, varying hem lengths, and layered fabrics. Several pieces were accessorized with elaborate hair ornaments and necklaces.

The finale featured red wedding attire for couples.

This segment highlighted intricate embroidery and embellishments of natural elements such as flowers, leaves, and birds.

The show also included designs with matching headwear for children aged 8 to 15.

Cao Minh Tien, 41, holds a master's degree in fashion and lectures at the Faculty of Design, Hanoi University of Industrial Engineering. His collections have been showcased at Vietnam Fashion Week, Dep Fashion Runway, and Vietnam International Fashion Week.
