Jeff Bezos's wife carries a $5,750 'coffee cup' bag

Lauren Sanchez, wife of billionaire Jeff Bezos, joined the ranks of best-dressed celebrities with a chic outfit and a "coffee cup" bag worth hundreds of millions of Vietnamese dong in Paris.

The 56-year-old was a VIP guest at Balenciaga's Fall/Winter 2025 Haute Couture show on 9/7. The event, part of Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, took place from 7/7 to 10/7 in France.

The design, named the 9 AM Coffee Cup, is part of Balenciaga's surrealist collection and is priced at $5,750 (150.2 million Vietnamese dong). Made in Italy from calfskin and brass, the bag features a hinged lid with a snap closure.

The bag generated buzz on social media platforms X and Instagram. Comments included: "Only a billionaire's wife would carry a nearly $6,000 'coffee cup'," "Crazy, it looks just like a regular coffee cup from a cafe," "As long as people are willing to buy frivolous things like this, they'll keep making them," and "This might be the most expensive cup of coffee in the world that you can't drink."
