Lam Truong took his child to a park near their US home in late May. Since his child learned to walk, he has had more time, gradually returning to his singing career. The artist strives to balance work and family, as he does not want to be away from his children. "I hope my children are always healthy, happy, and grow up surrounded by everyone's love", he said.

In mid-July, Lam Truong brought his wife and two children from the US back to Vietnam to visit relatives. The singer stated he dedicated two months to organizing family trips, strengthening their bond.

After giving birth to her second child, Yen Phuong admitted she became more short-tempered due to the demands of caring for a young child. However, with her husband's patience, she managed to regulate her emotions. She stated they always listen to and respect each other. "My husband is understanding, so all conflicts are resolved gently", the singer's wife said.

When his wife, Yen Phuong, gave birth to their second child, Lam Truong reduced his performance schedule, staying in the US to help care for the baby. He willingly "took night shifts" to bottle-feed the baby, ensuring his wife got enough sleep. The next morning, he took on the responsibility of taking their first daughter, nine-year-old Phoebe, to school. "I am happy when our little home is always filled with the laughter of children", the singer said.

Despite his busy schedule, the 7x generation singer always prioritizes family time through weekend dinners or strolls. He also combines concert tours with family trips, offering his two children more opportunities for new experiences.

In raising their children, the singer prioritizes closeness and listening. Instead of using physical punishment when their children make mistakes, he and his partner choose to analyze situations, helping their children understand and adjust independently.

Lam Truong married Yen Phuong in 2014. The singer has a son, Kien Van, from his first marriage; he is currently 20 years old.

The 52-year-old singer is one of the male voices popular in the late 1990s and early 2000s, with hits such as: Tinh thoi xot xa (Bao Chan), Doi giay vai (Nguyen Hai Phong), and Katy Katy (Duc Tri). Alongside Dan Truong, he is considered one of the first generation idol singers of Vpop.
