The 22-year-old comes from a military family; her parents, sister, and brother-in-law all serve in the armed forces. Throughout the competition, Chau Anh projected an image of gentle grace combined with the inner strength of a soldier.

Chau Anh is a second lieutenant, working in the music department of the Military University of Culture and Arts. She is also studying piano at the Vietnam National Academy of Music.

Chau Anh stood out from the semi-final round at the end of April, with many viewers predicting her high placement.
For her Miss Vietnam project, Chau Anh introduced an initiative to bring music to children in remote mountainous areas. Having played the piano since childhood, she believes music has helped her become more confident and outgoing.

During the pageant, Chau Anh received support from her workplace and school, allowing her to defer her studies. However, she remains committed to graduating from the Vietnam National Academy of Music on schedule.
Miss Vietnam, a beauty pageant initiated by Tien Phong Newspaper, was first held in 1988 under the name Miss Tien Phong Newspaper Association. The first winner was Bui Bich Phuong, from Hanoi. The biennial competition, now in its 19th season, began in late 2024 and attracted thousands of applicants nationwide. The organizers selected the top 60, then the top 45, and finally, 25 finalists for the final round.
