On the evening of 21/6, while Thu Trang was on stage congratulating the winning contestant in her role as catwalk director, her boyfriend approached. He knelt down, pulled out a ring, and expressed his love, causing her to burst into tears. Amidst the cheers and encouragement from friends and contestants, Trang accepted. Son put the ring on her finger and gave her a kiss.

The model said she had a sleepless night because of happiness. "I was overwhelmed with emotion because my boyfriend secretly planned it. After many years of striving together, we are about to embark on a new chapter in our lives," she said.

Trang explained that Son proposed on stage partly to create a beautiful memory for her. Miss Universe Vietnam was a dream of hers, and she participated several times but never won the crown. For the past two years, Trang has put aside the idea of competing in beauty pageants, shifting her focus to training and supporting other aspiring beauty queens with their performance skills.

The couple met in late 2020 through social media. Son faced a health crisis when he was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Throughout his treatment, Trang was always by his side, encouraging and caring for him. Son said he once suggested breaking up because he didn't want to be a burden to her, but Trang refused to leave.

According to Trang, their relationship has experienced ups and downs, but their sincerity and trust in each other have kept them together. Her boyfriend has also been a strong supporter of her pursuit of her passion. "Thank you for coming into my life and loving me with all you have. We will be together for a very long time," she said.

Le Thu Trang, 28, is from Hanoi. She is 1.75 m tall with measurements of 86-63-98 cm. She became well-known after reaching the top 10 of Miss Universe Vietnam in 2017 and 2019. In 2023, she competed in the first season of The New Mentor, mentored by Lan Khue, and won.

Quang Son, 29, graduated from the University of Theater and Cinema in Ho Chi Minh City and won the Face of Cinema 2019. He performs at The Gioi Tre Theater and has acted in several web dramas. He is also a model and participated in The Next Gentleman 2022.
