According to MyDaily on 11/6, the trip includes the cast and production team, featuring stars Lim Ji Yeon and Heo Nam Jun. Apart from some actors unable to join due to prior commitments, the remaining members will all head to Phu Quoc (An Giang).
This marks the first time in six years that an SBS drama crew has organized an overseas reward trip, since the 'Dr. Romantic' season 2 team visited Saipan in 2/2020. In recent years, despite many films achieving good results, teams could not arrange international travel due to the pandemic.
'My Royal Nemesis', a 14-episode series, is currently airing episode 10 and maintains its appeal one month after its debut. According to FUNdex by Good Data Corporation, 'My Royal Nemesis' topped the discussion rankings for TV and OTT platforms in the first week of June, extending its lead for three consecutive weeks.
The show's popularity has spread internationally. According to Tudum, as of 27/5, the drama garnered 4,1 million views. It also ranked 5th on Netflix's global top 10 non-English TV shows chart.
The series is a fantasy-comedy that centers on an unknown actress named Shin Seo Ri, possessed by the spirit of Kang Dan Sim, a Joseon-era villainess. From there, the ghost must adapt to modern society and becomes entangled in a relationship with the chaebol Cha Se Gye, played by Heo Nam Joon.
'My Royal Nemesis' has been praised for its fast-paced storytelling. The script combines humor, romance, and fantasy, gradually revealing a 300-year-long destiny connecting Kang Dan Sim, Cha Se Gye, and Choi Mun Do, expanding the story from past to present. According to Hankook Ilbo, while many time-travel works dedicate significant time to setting up the context or exploring the character's unfamiliarity with the new world, this drama completes its introduction in two episodes.
In episode 10, the relationship between Shin Seo Ri and Cha Se Gye enters a new chapter as they share a kiss. Instead of being reserved, Shin Seo Ri actively expresses her feelings. They enjoy simple yet sweet dates.
Beyond the romantic storyline, the film intensifies conflicts among its characters. Choi Mun Do (Jang Seung Jo) loses his advantage in the succession race after being transferred to the US branch, while Cha Se Gye is seen as a strong candidate for chairman. Complications arise when the female lead's grandmother is pressured to sign a land contract. She seeks out Choi Mun Do for confrontation, while Se Gye tries to protect his beloved.
The trailer for episode 11 adds drama when Chairman Cha Dal Su and Shin Seo Ri are involved in an accident. However, Seo Ri unexpectedly wakes up in the Joseon era, raising the risk of her and Cha Se Gye being separated.

In recent years, many top actors from Korea and Hong Kong have traveled to coastal areas with friends and family. Lim Ji Yeon, star of 'My Royal Nemesis', visited Nha Trang for golf and local cuisine in late 2024. In August 2025, Gillian Chung vacationed at a resort in Phu Quoc. Close friends Linda Chung and Myolie Wu have also visited the location multiple times with their husbands and children.
In 2023, the cast of 'Doctor Cha' and actress Eugene, who starred in 'Penthouse', also enjoyed a vacation in Nha Trang. That same year, actor Lee Byung Hun's company organized a retreat in Da Nang for artists and staff to foster camaraderie.
