Quynh Anh Shyn's chameleon-like fashion

Fashionista Quynh Anh Shyn continuously changes her hair color and pairs outfits with rhinestone and metal accessories at the "Em xinh say hi" show.

She is one of the two notable fashionistas on the show, alongside Chau Bui. Quynh Anh Shyn participated in several popular performances like "Ga san ca" and "Dong dao xinh gai," attracting millions of views and topping YouTube's trending music charts.

The public considers her a surprising element in her first foray into singing. Besides her performance skills, Quynh Anh Shyn's fashion sense has also received praise.

In episode 10 of Live Stage 4, which aired on the evening of 2/8, Quynh Anh Shyn transformed herself in various performances. In "Bac thang len hoi ong troi" (right), she, along with Bich Phuong, Lamoon, and My My, embodied youthful figures with an ethereal style, performing a contemporary dance. In "Cach (yeu dung) dieu," Quynh Anh Shyn played an alien with bobbed hair, paired with a sparkling outfit. The team's appearance was praised by the MC and other contestants for its creativity.

Confident in her styling abilities, she delighted the other contestants by declaring, "Whichever team I join will always be the best-dressed." Throughout the four rounds, the contestants acknowledged Quynh Anh Shyn's skills, as she consistently helped her team stand out on stage with eye-catching outfits.

She performed "Ga san ca" at Live Stage 2 with Lam Bao Ngoc (front), Maiquinn (left), and Saabirose (right). They chose to embody "sea monsters" instead of mermaids, wearing see-through outfits in a dominant purple hue with shimmering fish scale and wave patterns. In addition to ear accessories, they also applied fish-shaped makeup on their collarbones.

According to Quynh Anh Shyn, she and her team, including designers Tra Linh and Viet Trinh, spent a month working continuously on the process, from brainstorming and sketching to selecting materials.

In round three, which aired on 19/7, she performed the song "Loi that long khi say" with Miu Le, Bich Phuong, and Juky San. Quynh Anh Shyn chose an orange outfit with cut-out details, accessorized with a belt and gloves.

She adorned her hair with flowers and patterns and added rhinestones to her nails.

The performance helped Quynh Anh Shyn's team keep all its members and advance to the next round.

In Live Stage 1, Quynh Anh Shyn wore an outfit inspired by the folk game "Rong ran len may," combined with modern fashion. As the team stepped onto the stage, MC Tran Thanh praised their investment in their costumes. He complimented Quynh Anh Shyn's good taste, saying she made the stage shine.

Quynh Anh Shyn dyed her hair to match her outfit and styled it with bangs to exude a mischievous look in line with the spirit of the song. She applied jade green eyeshadow, winged eyeliner, and red lipstick for added emphasis.

During the challenge filming activities, Quynh Anh Shyn stood out with her constantly changing appearance. She sported a doll-eyed look with pink and purple hair. She added 3D patterns and metal claws to her hands for a powerful touch.

In episode six, Quynh Anh Shyn coordinated a classic outfit with a midriff-baring top and a long, flared skirt. Her short, brightly dyed hair made her stand out among the contestants.

In an early episode, Quynh Anh Shyn sported a rebellious style with chain-embellished pants and platform shoes.

She coordinated a colorful Y2K-inspired outfit at the introductory round. Quynh Anh Shyn applied star and rainbow teardrop stickers under her eyes.

Attending the show's press conference in May in TP HCM, Quynh Anh Shyn wore an all-black futuristic outfit. Her bob hairstyle, imprinted with the show's abbreviation "EXSH," impressed many guests.

On many forums, viewers have likened Quynh Anh Shyn to a "chameleon" due to her ability to transform her appearance in diverse and engaging ways. Fans have left comments such as "unique style," "never out of fashion," and "outfit coordination worthy of a fashionista."

Quynh Anh Shyn, whose real name is Phi Quynh Anh, is 29 years old and from Hanoi. She is known for her versatile fashion sense and frequently attends major fashion weeks around the world. She currently has nearly 3 million followers on Instagram. In 2023, she was nominated for the Fashion Icon category of the "Ngoi Sao of the Year" awards organized by the Ngoi Sao website.

The "Em xinh say hi" show aims to "find the next generation of female idols in Vietnamese music." It has been airing since late May and consists of 14 episodes, scheduled to conclude in August. The contestants are divided into teams, competing directly through group performances. Music director JustaTee (nickname Jessica Thanh Tu), along with a team of over 20 producers and musicians, are in charge of creating new songs for the contestants. The show is produced by the same team that successfully organized the "Anh trai say hi" show in mid-2024.
