He will sing a medley of 4 songs, including one contemporary song with Pham Thu Ha. The performance is newly arranged, combining a symphony orchestra and traditional musical instruments. The two vocalists spent many days rehearsing to achieve harmony, aiming for a performance that is both solemn and accessible to young audiences.
Singer Dang Duong, 51, began studying the dan bau (Vietnamese monochord) at the Vietnam National Academy of Music at 13. At 18, he transitioned to vocal studies, training under artists Quang Tho and Trung Kien. He won first prize at Hanoi's Good Voice Competition in 1995. In 1998, alongside Trong Tan and Viet Hoan, he debuted the song "Duong chung ta di" (Huy Du) at the 1998 Student Singing Festival, quickly making an impression on music lovers. While many colleagues explored other styles like folk, light music, and oldies, Dang Duong remained loyal to classical and revolutionary music.
In addition to Dang Duong and Pham Thu Ha, the program features artists Thanh Hoa, Mai Hoa, Dang Thuat, Dinh Thanh Le, along with spoken word artists Ngoc Tho, Anh Tu, Do Hoang Hiep, and rapper Ram C. The works blend traditional elements with modern musical language.

Chapter one, titled "Loi dat nuoc", evokes the nation's origins through lullabies and folk melodies. Chapter two, "Nhip thoi dai", introduces many youthful and modern songs that retain the Vietnamese spirit. Chapter three, "Sac do thieng lieng", reflects the nation's heroic history and the aspiration to contribute in the new era. The event is organized by Voice of Vietnam, leading up to the 14th National Party Congress, scheduled to take place in Hanoi from 19/1 to 25/1/2026.
A highlight is the performance of winning works from the Songwriting Campaign, the Folk Song with New Lyrics Campaign, and the Poetry Composition Contest "With the Party, complete trust and love". This is Voice of Vietnam's largest songwriting campaign to date.
People's Artist Van Chuong, Head of the Literature, Arts and Music Department (VOV3), stated that through the competition, the editorial team discovered many folk materials from ethnic minority groups, including the Nguon people in Minh Hoa, Quang Binh. He hopes that such materials, when given new lyrics and good staging, will create unique appeal on stage.
